Gardening

At MLS we build a love and respect for the world around us through many ways, one of these is through our garden. We have a beautiful big planter garden in our outdoor environment which children have access to all day. The children learn how to plant seeds, care for the plants as they grow and then harvest the food to use in cooking with their educators or to be given to the kitchen. We have been lucky enough to harvest enough produce in the past that we could share it with our MLS community.
